In Pathophysiology, students take an in-depth exploration into the components of disease across various body systems. In this eight-Module course, students progress from the basics of pathophysiology and disease progression to specific conditions such as those affecting the cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, and neurologic systems. Students will explore topics like cellular pathology, immune responses, inflammation, and infection. They will engage in discussions on topics like neoplasms, blood disorders, and the impact of environmental factors on disease. Practical activities such as virtual labs and research Projects deepen understanding and facilitate the application of knowledge in real-world scenarios.
