The Global Business course explores the fundamentals of conducting business on an international scale. Students begin by analyzing theories of global trade and investments while identifying the roles of institutions such as international trade agreements and the International Monetary Fund. Students will explore key concepts including business specialization, comparative advantages, SWOT analyses, and global investments. Additionally, students develop practical and marketable skills through hands-on activities like creating an orientation manual for living and working in a foreign country, exploring international and real-world case studies, and building an international market entry plan, all while practicing effective interpersonal and team-building skills. This course aims to provide students with a solid foundation in global business and prepare them for success in today’s ever-changing global landscape.
