In this course, students will learn III, III-io, and IV conjugations; third declension and relative pronouns; and Latin vocabulary. Through translation, they will learn the stories of Aeneas and Odysseus (Ulysses). These stories are taken from Virgil’s Aeneid and Homer’s Odyssey. The study of Latin will also improve English vocabulary. This is the second course in a four-part Latin series (LATIN 041, 043, 051, and 053) and is a continuation of First-Year Latin, Part 1 (LATIN 041).
