Job Title: Educational Sales Representative

As a Bright Thinker Educational Sales Representative, you will interact with educators, positioning our SaaS-based product as a solution for a wide range of challenges they face daily. Your desire to “make an impact” can be experienced daily as educators share success stories of students whose futures are forever changed by the solution you represent.
In 2015, Bright Thinker’s curriculum was developed in both paper and digital forms to serve the most challenging students in K – 12th grades. Our solutions work well for advanced students and those in credit recovery and supplemental applications, too. Today, numerous alternative accountability charter schools in Texas, including ISDs, use our core classes curriculum, making us a proven leader in student success.
Bright Thinker provides students a rigorous academic experience, with the intent of preparing them for the successes measured by standardized assessments and collegiate preparedness. The Bright Thinker team has developed educational products that adhere to state and national standards in architecture and curriculum content. Students will experience a variety of instructional content that is academically challenging yet visually engaging to stimulate the educational mind and encourage academic discovery.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Teaching or school administration experience is a plus.
- Successful track record of achieving sales goals preferred.
- Experience in an open office environment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES(KSAs):
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google apps.
- Must be very detail-oriented and flexible with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills a plus.
- Collaborative team player able to drive towards personal success while understanding the working needs of your teammates.
- Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
- Experience with K-12 grade-level curriculum preferred
- Experience working with a CRM preferred, but not required
As an Educational Sales Representative, you will be reaching out to School Administrators daily using various outreach methods. You will be in charge of your sales pipeline by making daily calls to customers and prospects, as well as conducting virtual product demonstrations to potential clients. All of this activity is recorded within Bright Thinker’s CRM, allowing you to track progress, forecast future sales opportunities, seamlessly communicate with your teammates, and make data-driven decisions as you execute your Success Plan.
