Sample Lesson Guidelines

The lesson does not have to cover the whole TEKS, it may cover just a portion of it.
The lesson should be about 1,000 words.
Keep your audience in mind. For most high school courses, it is good to aim for an 8-9th grade reading level.
Use clear, concise language. Write in plain English. We want kids to be able to easily understand the concepts.
There should be 5-10 review questions covering the most important concepts in the Lesson. Please have questions be multiple-choice, matching, or other non-fill-in-the-blank types.
The lesson must be in your own words. Do not plagiarize.
Include any pictures/diagrams that are necessary for content. It is okay to borrow pictures from other sources for the sample Lesson.
